Our Mission Statement
To reach out to each other, the lost, the needy, the lonely, the elderly, and to young families.
To provide them with spiritual, material, emotional and physical support.
The congregation of St. Margaret of Scotland takes its mission statement very seriously and reaches
out to the community through the following active programs:

Helping Families through Outreach Program
We support several local families-in-need by supplying gift cards which are used to purchase
groceries. Parish visitors keep in touch with the families and form a supportive relationship.
Helping the Elderly and Sick through Hospital Visitors
We have a long history of members of the congregation volunteering to visit hospital patients
at Burnaby Hospital who have asked for pastoral care. We also maintain an Anglican presence at
Fellburn Care Centre, a local extended care facility.
